About Glavé & Holmes

Glavé & Holmes is the Architect of Record for the comprehensive preservation efforts for the Wren Building. A nationally recognized architecture, interiors, preservation, and planning firm, Glavé & Holmes Architecture was established in 1965 and has developed a strong expertise in working with historic properties across the eastern United States. Our dedicated Historic Preservation Studio is comprised of historic architects, historians, and preservationists who meet the National Park Service Professional Qualifications Standards. Our team is focused exclusively on the preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse of historic properties, guided by a thorough understanding of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards.

Our award-winning preservation work has been recognized with honors from The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, Preservation Virginia, AIA Virginia, Historic Richmond Foundation, and AIA Richmond.
